Agata’s House

The A casa da Agata farmhouse is a welcoming country residence located in the charming Valdarno area.
It’s a perfect place to stay in all seasons, both for those looking to spend days in complete relaxation and for those who love an active outdoor life.
Its strategic location in the heart of Tuscany makes it an excellent base for exploring picturesque villages and centuries-old churches or for visiting Florence, Arezzo, and Siena, just an hour’s drive away.
A casa da Agata is located a few kilometers above Loro Ciuffenna, at over 600 meters above sea level in a panoramic position overlooking the entire Valdarno.
The house is surrounded by greenery and tranquility and was completely renovated in 2016 to accommodate up to 6 people.
Its two spacious rooms have private entrances and are bright, quiet, and thoughtfully furnished with attention to detail to ensure every comfort. Each has a private bathroom and free Wi-Fi.
The beds have slatted bases, ergonomic mattresses and pillows, and high-quality linens to ensure you get the best rest.
The spacious terrace with breathtaking views of the valley below and the garden surrounding the house are available to guests for breakfast al fresco or to sip an aperitif while watching the sunset.
Breakfast is homemade every morning with fresh, seasonal ingredients. It can be served in your room upon request.
The pace is slow, the air is fresh and clean, and the welcome is like that of an old friend.
To get around the area, using your own transportation is strongly recommended, as public transportation is limited. From Loro Ciuffenna, there are frequent connections to the city of Arezzo and the nearest train stations, Montevarchi and San Giovanni Valdarno.
Loro Ciuffenna has a tourist office, a post office, bars, shops and restaurants.
– Chuck the dog, the two cats, and Agata, the family sheep, live at Agata’s house all year round.
Your pets are welcome as long as they are open to making new friends!

The house is a three-story country house. On the ground floor is the breakfast/lunch/dinner room. On the first floor are two guest rooms, one with three beds and the other with two. Both have private bathrooms and air conditioning. Breakfast, sweet or savory, is included in the room rate. Tastings of the farm’s products are available. Dinners featuring local, locally sourced produce are available upon request. Wine tastings are also available (always upon request, as we do not have a sommelier, but can be arranged with advance notice).

Check-in is from 3:00 PM onwards until 7:00 PM (if you are late just let us know, as long as it is not after 9:00 PM otherwise a late check-in surcharge will be applied, while check-out is required for 10 AM.
The place is pet-friendly, provided you notify us. A small deposit is required upon arrival, which will be returned upon check-out after a room inspection. Smoking is strictly prohibited in the rooms.
